This branch of our family has a geographical origin in towns which include Warsaw Poland and those near to it. David Walter and Yetta Wasserman were married there Nov 1914. David lived in Warsaw and Yetta was from Zwolen, a shtetl with a significant Jewish population about 50 miles away. It is interesting that David's brother Jankel (Jacques) Walter married Yetta's sister Sara Wasserman. David's family emigrated to New York in 1923 and 1924 but Jankel Walter's family emigrated to France. Today the family remains split geographically but remains in contact.
