Shlomo Yitzchaki (today known as RASHI) (1040-1105):
Rashi's commentary on the Talmud is studied by virtually all Torah scholars and is the basis for further scholarship and interpretation on the Talmud. Any student learned in its study can continue learning on his/her own, deciphering its language and meaning.
Richard Warren (ca.1580-1628):
One of the passengers on the Pilgrim ship Mayflower and the twelfth signer of the Mayflower Compact.
Hannah Tredway Puffer (1714-1777) and Captain Jabez Puffer (1704-1789):
For eighteen months, 18 year old Hannah Tredway was kidnapped and held captive by native Americans. She was finally ransomed. Hannah Treadway Puffer was the second wife of Captain Jabez Puffer, a Captain in the Revolutionary War. They were married in 1789 in Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts. When Hannah died he took a third wife. Hannah, Jabez and his other wives are buried in the Old Revolutionary Cemetery in Sudbury, MA.
Ralph Walter (1929-1976):
Youngest son of two immigrant New York tailors, Ralph was the original designer and producer of the Poodle skirt. Although he unfortunately died young, Ralph's three surviving sisters and wife all knew of his invention.
Leonard Dreifuss (1916 - 1997: The original researcher of his family history. Leonard did not use any computer technology, relying on libraries, international mail and many via telephone and mail collaborations. Len was the father of Jeffrey and Peter Dreifuss whose records today are published here. We originally published his records on the early days of the internet as "Leonard Dreifuss Genealogy". Later this became "Leonard and Sons Dreifuss Genealogy" and finally DreifussBros.com
